A highly qualified professional has opened a podiatry foot clinic in the heart of Middlesbrough town centre.

Sindi Dube has launched The Foot Specialist in Dundas Indoor Market, part of the Dundas Shopping Centre, offering all types of foot care from corns, calluses, in-growing toenails, fungal nails, verrucas, athletes foot and other nail conditions, to treating heel and foot pain, as well as providing specialist diabetic services.

Sindi is a graduate with qualifications in nutritional science, biomedical science and podiatric medicine with surgery from local universities, allowing her to diagnose and treat complex conditions. She is a Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and a HCPC registered chiropodist/podiatrist.

“I am offering a whole range of treatments from routine chiropody to tackling foot and heel pain and, as well as more specialist services, in a really accessible location. What could be better for your aching feet after a hard day’s shopping, than a relaxing and soothing treatment?”

Thirty minute treatment sessions can be booked on line via Sindi’s website at, or on tel. 01642 205242 or tel. 07764893245. A full list of treatments and a price list can also be found on the website, or by calling in at unit 22 / 23 in Dundas Indoor Market.

“The Foot Specialist is a great addition to our market, joining our existing cluster of health and beauty services, such as How-R-You and Nailed Up, and we are expecting a new unisex hair salon to open in June,” says Dundas Market Manager David Harris.

“Enquiries from new retailers or service providers like Sindi are always welcome for our indoor market, especially from food retailers, including greengrocers, weigh and save operators and specialist takeaways, as well as games and music exchange businesses,” continues David.

“For new traders who want to test out a business idea, Dundas Market also offers a small number of Enterprise Units from £60 per week, which equates to just £10 a day, on short term tenant agreements.”

Further information about units in Dundas Market is available from Market Manager David Harris on tel. 01642 232552 or by email.

Part of the Dundas Shopping Centre, Dundas Market is the only indoor market in Middlesbrough.

Open six days a week from Monday to Saturday, it has more than 20 welcoming market stalls, including Sweet Corner, Jean’s Kitchen and Danny’s Family Butchers, selling everything from handbags to gladrags, furniture to fizzbombs, make ups to vapes, candles to mirrors, babywear to bhajis and low fat Chicken Shawarmas, as well as mobile phone and tablet repairs.
