At Larchfield Community, on the edge of Hemlington, Middlesbrough, we provide supported living to 37 adults with learning disabilities and offer day placements to a further 60 adults from all over Teesside. We provide meaningful work opportunities in a variety of workshops including: cafe, kitchen, bakery, craft, farm and gardens.

Come along and enjoy a stroll around our 160 acre farm and see our cattle, sheep, chickens and geese and enjoy lunch in our cafe.

Take the opportunity to have a look around our farm shop and the display of craft work for sale. On the day there will be the opportunity to take part in craft activities in the main hall, with some of the people we support.

Larchfield Community

Larchfield Community, on the edge of Middlesbrough, creates opportunities for adults with disabilities through partnerships with the local community. Established in 1986, at the invitation of Middlesbrough Council, the community offers residential and day facilities for around 29 resident adults as well as 50 day placements. In addition to a comfortable home life, they offer everyone the opportunity to develop and achieve much in their lives through learning new skills and developing social relationships.

They welcome the public to their Wheelhouse Farm Shop & Coffee Bar where they offer quality home-produced organic food at affordable prices and fabulous crafts.

Other areas are available to view upon request or during special Discover Middlesbrough events.
