The town centre has 4 shopping centres: Cleveland Centre, Hillstreet Shopping Centre, Captain Cook Square and Dundas Shopping, which are all centrally located within a minute's walk of each other.
The pedestrianised Linthorpe Road and Newport Road are in the retail heart of the town, with Debenhams and House of Fraser gracing the refurbished pedestrian space. From these it is a quick walk to Linthorpe Road Central, the fabulous independent, designer shopping area dominated by the impressive Psyche building, and Baker Street, home of the newest, hottest independent shops, cafes and more.
Look out for Triads and Concept in the Linthorpe Road Central mix. Plus, check out Baker Street, the new place to go for trendsetters and vintage-hunters featuring independent shops like Fawn, Disgraceland, Vintageous Rags, DaintyLou & more!
